RYA Spring Flag games and practices take place at Langston Hughes Middle School (turf field), 11401 Ridge Heights Rd., Reston, VA.  In the event that Fairfax County schools or fields are closed, RYA Flag practices and games will be cancelled.
 
If Fairfax County does not close the fields but the RYA Commissioner decides that the field or weather conditions are not suitable to play, a notice will be posted on our website (www.restonseahawks.org) and sent via email to all RYA Flag participants indicating that games or practices are cancelled for the day.
 
In case of lighting after the beginning of practices/games, all players must be removed from the field and taken to a covered area for 20 minutes following the lightning strike.  If there is another lightning strike prior to the end of the 20 minutes, the timer starts over.  It is the field commissioner/coaches decision as to whether or not to cancel all operations for the day.
