FAQs
WHAT IS FLAG FOOTBALL
Flag football is a non-contact league for boys and girls in grades 1–12. Players are placed in divisions based on their grade during the season. Occasionally, we may move a few players between divisions to balance rosters, using age and experience as deciding factors.
Before the season begins, we hold player assessments to help create balanced, competitive teams. Attendance is very important for all players. While we try to honor coach, team, and carpool requests, we can’t guarantee them.
-
Games: Typically 1 hr on Friday Nights or Saturday Mornings or Afternoon
-
Practices: Once a week for up to 1.5 hours
Game times and locations generally stay the same each week, with some exceptions for make-up games or field changes.

WHAT IS FLAG FOOTBALL?
Flag football is a fun, fast-paced version of American football where players wear flags on a belt instead of being tackled. The defensive team stops the ball carrier by pulling a flag, not by physical contact — making it a safer, non-contact sport for all ages.
