Player's ages range from 7 - 16 and are assigned to teams based on a age/weight matrix developed and enforced by the Northern Virginia Youth Football League (NVYF) - formerly Fairfax County Youth Football League (FCYFL). NVYFL holds official weigh-ins and this weigh-in process provides the foundation for the development of the teams.
