Welcome to the 2024 Reston Youth Association Cheer program! We are excited to spend this fall with your athlete. Registration is open for our Fall 2024 Cheer season from 8/11/24 - 9/15/24. 

The first practice begins on Tuesday, August 27th! 

Practices will be held at: South Lakes High School Auxilary Gym regularly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6PM -8PM; (5-7 age division will be dismissed at 7:30)

Once you have created a Demosphere account, you will be able to login and register your family. 

Registration will close late September, so secure your cheer athlete’s spot today!

Participation Options:

1. RYA Football Game Sideline Cheer: All participants will cheer at home RYA football games. Schedule is TBD. Practices will be from August through October.

2. RYA Football Game Sideline Cheer AND Competition Team: Participants who are interested in training for and competing in competition in early December will be evaluated for the team. Practice from August through early December is required and participants must meet criteria for safely participating in competition cheer. All participants are encouraged and welcome to be evaluated for this great experience!

Assistant Coaches & Parent Volunteers:

We are looking for an assistant coach / parent volunteer to be assigned to each team. This person will be present at every practice and game to support the team. Cheer experience is GREAT, but not necessary.
